How To Register as a New Member
If you are already a SMAR member, log in using your last name as your User Name and your NRDS ID for your password.
If you plan to join SMAR as a new member, you may begin by requesting membership. Click the register here button and fill out the requested information. You will begin a process that creates a provisional membership identity in our system. Staff will guide your application through various tasks and verifications, including submitting a signed application, paying dues and providing proof of completing the required Code of Ethics training. Once these steps are completed, you will be scheduled to attend an orientation session. Upon completing orientation, the provisional identity will convert to an active membership and you will have full access to the website data appropriate to your level of membership.
In the event you choose not to complete the process after starting it, the data collected by the system during the application process will be deleted. SMAR will not sell, trade or exchange any information left behind by an incomplete new member registration process.
