How to Register as an Existing Member
Existing members who have never used the site must activate their identies so they can create user names and passwords. If you have a valid active SMAR membership, your name and NAR ID and email address are already on file in the site's database. To register with the site you will be asked to enter your name and NRDS ID. The site will search our records for your information. When it finds an exact match, it will email an invitation to you using the email address you most recently provided to SMAR.
Click Register
Click Yes for existing member Click Continue
Type your name EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS ON YOUR REAL ESTATE LICENSE or in the your SMAR Membership application. Just first and last name, do not add initials or generation.
Type your NAR ID (NRDS ID)
Click Verify Status
An email link will be sent to you to complete the process.
In the event the site cannot match your entries with one of our records, please try the following:
Ensure the information you typed is correct and matches your real estate license or SMAR application data if possible.
Try visiting our public site (http://www.somdrealtors.com) and use the find a member feature. Enter the data EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS on the public site.
Try visiting the NAR site and searching for your information there.
Call SMAR and ask the staff to verify the data you are entering.
You may also try entering your email address as your user name and then click the "forgot password" link. The site will match your email address to our database and email your temporary password to you. Once you login, you can change the password to whatever 8-character combination you prefer.
