Our staff keeps busy all week taking care of business and making

Jann Clark, Executive Officer, Phone extension 11.
Jann has been with SMAR over 2 years. She recommends and participates in the formulation of new policies and makes decisions within existing policies as approved by the Board of Directors. Plans, organizes, and coordinates the staff, programs and activities of the Association to assure that objectives are attained, plans fulfilled, and member's needs are met. Ensures constructive growth of the Association.

Steuart Bowling, Director Of Technology and New Business Development, Phone extension 14.
Steuart rejoined the Association as an employee in late July of 2002. Prior to that, he had served almost 15 years as the account representative for SMAR's MLS provider. His job is to provide technology consulting services to the Association members, directors and staff, perform service calls for members, offer training and instruction on software and hardware, maintain the SMAR equipment, inform and advise SMAR leadership on technology-related trends, opportunities, and threats, and to identify possible areas for new non-dues related revenue streams to the Association.
Consultations are a benefit to members at no extra charge, but service calls will generate a fee. If you bring your hardware to the SMAR office, the rates are $25 per hour. House calls or office visits requiring travel will be charged at $45 for the first hour and $35 for each hour after that. Materials to be installed must be provided by the customer.

Debbie Brown, Comptroller, Phone extension 13.
Debbie has been with SMAR since 1986. Debbie handles bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, SMAR & Multacc dues, and billing.

Ronnie Miles, Membership/Realtor Store, Phone extension 15.
Ronnie started working in SMAR in 1997 as a receptionist. Her duties have expanded to include membership coordinator, new member orientation coordinator, manager of the Realtor Store, and room rentals manager.

Hannah Sanders, Education Coordinator, Phone extension 12.
Hannah joined SMAR in April of 2005. As SMAR's Education Coordinator, Hannah deals with all aspects of scheduling our Continuing Education, GRI, and Principles of Real Estate courses.

Paula Martino, Government Affairs Director, 301-934-6821.
Paula works for SMAR as part of an MAR sponsored program encouraging member Associations to take a more active role in monitoring local government affairs for real estate-related issues. Among Paula's duties: attending County and Municipal government meetings, analyzing and keeping tabs on proposals that affect real estate, and alerting the SMAR leadership and members to significant developments.
