A Message From MRIS - Changes Coming Soon to MRIS Secure Login

A Message From MRIS - Changes Coming Soon to MRIS Secure Login
At MRIS, we are constantly searching for new and innovative ways to protect our customers' content while making the security experience easier for you. A new technology is coming soon that will allow you to login to MRIS systems without the need for tokens over time. We've heard your requests, and consequently this new technology will offer the security of the traditional hardware tokens but be much more convenient for our users. In the meantime, please continue to use your SAFEMLS® tokens.
Best of all, you can be assured that MRIS' convenient Single Sign On and Team Login will continue to offer the benefits you are used to.
Over the next few months, you will begin to see this next generation of Secure Login taking shape. The new Secure Login combines information you enter at login, called user credentials - a User ID, PIN, and password - with a technology that recognizes your own personal keystroke and computer use patterns to verify your identity.
What You Can Expect to See and Do
You can expect to see a slightly new login screen as a first step in transitioning to the new technology. This new login screen requires that you have JavaScript enabled in your browser settings on your computer and have installed Adobe Flash (version 9.0.124 or higher). Both of these are common programs required by a number of websites, so you may be using these programs already. The system will alert you if you need to enable JavaScript and/or you need to install or upgrade Flash.
You will notice a few slight changes to your login screen. These include:
* The User ID, PIN and token Password fields will take a moment or two to display. This is OK!
* The User ID, PIN and token Password must be typed in. Copy and Paste or Save will no longer work on this screen.
* If you use the Backspace key in the User ID or Password fields, the entire piece of information will be deleted, not just the last character. You must re-type the entire User ID or Password to proceed.
As we move forward with this new technology, please look for further details about implementation and how the system will work. MRIS will reach out in a number of ways to keep you updated about launch dates and the eventual time when your hardware tokens can be put aside. Thank you for your help and cooperation as we upgrade to the next generation of Secure Login.
