SentriLock SmartCard Update
In order to improve service by preventing improper termination of SentriLock access, a change is being made that will affect the way all SMAR-issued SentriLock key cards are updated. The change should be largely transparent to members updating their cards using a card reader.
Effective January 20, 2010, the sign-in code that automatically appears when a card is placed in a reader will change. Members will see First Name, followed by Last Name, followed by -SM. (No spaces). This will appear automatically and does not require the member to do or type anything differently. The password members type in manually when updating a card will not change.
Members who choose to log in to the SentriLock website directly will need to type the Sentrilock ID of FirstName, LastName-SM (no spaces or commas, but do type the dash), in the space provided. The password portion will remain unchanged.
