2010 C.A.R.E. AWARD APPLICATION
(Community Action and REALTOR® Excellence)
Deadline - Thursday, June 17, 2010
Did you know your charity work could lead to MORE MONEY for local charities?
The C.A.R.E. Award is given annually by the Maryland Association of REALTORS® to Local Boards/Associations to recognize achievements in community service and charitable actions. The award is designed to raise the profile of REALTORS®, to recognize the contributions REALTORS® make in their communities in terms of volunteer hours and money raised, and to offset the perception that REALTORS® are only concerned with the business transactions of buying and selling homes.
Please tell us what you do, whether as individuals, groups, teams or office wide. Don't forget about participation with military groups, church drives, and/or hurricane relief efforts, etc.... You are strongly encouraged to include photos, testimonials, and any other supportive information that would further enhance your submission.
Prize: The award winning Boards/Associations will receive a cash prize to the charity of their choice, and be recognized at the Installation Banquet at the MAR Annual conference. The monetary awards: First Place - $10,000; 1st Place Recognition - $5,000; 2nd Place Recognition - $1,000.
