SentriLock Tip - Daylight Savings Time
Adjustment
This year, by act of Congress,
Daylight Savings Time began on the second Sunday in March rather than the
traditional first Sunday of April. Sentrilock notified members of the need to
upload a clock adjustment into each lockbox using their Sentricards. In
general, SMAR members need not be concerned with this update. The lockboxes for
SMAR permit 24-hour showing times. However, under certain circumstances, you may
need to update your lockbox clocks.
If a lockbox is to be set for
limited hours of access by the owner, please perform the following steps prior
to March 11, 2007:
1) Renew your Sentricard. This
downloads the new DST hours
2) Place your card into each of
your lockboxes that needs the update and wait for the "Chirp" signaling the
update was loaded
3) Remove the card
The new DST hours will not affect
the times displayed in the lockbox access logs even if the box is not updated.
Access dates and times are converted by the Sentrilock Server prior to being
displayed in the lockbox acess logs.
Route 301 Bypass
The 301 Bypass
Project is entering the next phase. SMAR has been notified that Public
Workshops are being hosted by the Maryland State Highway Administration as
follows:
Tuesday, March 20th at 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mattawoman Middle
School, 10145 Berry Road, Waldorf, MD.
Thursday, March
22nd at 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Gwynn Park High School, 8000 Dyson Road,
Brandywine, MD.
Saturday, March
24th at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Thomas Stone High School, 3785 Leonardtown
Road, Waldorf, MD.
